Administrative Review of AD Order on Standard Pipe from Korea

Administrative Review of AD Order on Standard Pipe from Korea (2013/2014) – Preliminary Results

Falls Church, VA. December 8, 2015. Earlier today, the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping (AD) order on circular welded non-alloy steel pipe (standard pipe) from Korea.

The review covers three Korean producers/exporters – Husteel Co., Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; and SeAH Steel Corporation – during the period from November 1, 2013 through October 31, 2014.

The DOC has calculated preliminary dumping margins of 1.42% for Husteel; 3.69% for Hyundai HYSCO; and zero (0.00%) for SeAH Steel.

The current dumping duty deposit rates are 1.05% for Husteel; 0.81% for Hyundai HYSCO; and 2.69% for SeAH Steel.

The DOC plans to complete this administrative review by April 2016. Until that time, the current dumping duty deposit rates will remain in effect. Any change in the deposit rates as a result of this review will become effective only when the DOC’s final results are published in the Federal Register.
