AD Order and Suspension Agreements on Cut-to-Length Plate from China, Russia, and Ukraine

Sunset Review of AD Order and Suspension Agreements on Cut-to-Length Plate from China, Russia, and Ukraine (Third Review) – ITC Final Determination

Falls Church, VA. November 10, 2015. The U.S. International Trade Commission has made its final determination in the third sunset review of the antidumping order (AD) order on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from China and the suspension agreements on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Russia and Ukraine.

The ITC made affirmative determinations with respect to all countries that revocation of the order and suspension agreements would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of injury to the domestic industry. The vote was unanimous (6 to 0) with regard to China and Russia and 4 to 2 with regard to Ukraine.

Accordingly, because the U.S. Department of Commerce had previously made affirmative determinations in its sunset reviews of the order and suspension agreements, the AD order on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from China and the suspension agreements on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Russia and Ukraine will remain in force for a further period of five years.
