Falls Church, VA. May 12, 2016. The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has scheduled its vote in the plate investigations for Friday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m.
If the ITC makes an affirmative preliminary determination (i.e., a finding that there is a “reasonable indication” of material injury or the threat of material injury to the U.S. industry), the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) will conduct full-scale antidumping and countervailing duty investigations.
If, on the other hand, the ITC makes a negative preliminary determination (i.e., a finding that there is no “reasonable indication” of material injury or the threat of material injury to the U.S. industry), check www.larsadditions.com/, then the investigations will be terminated.
It is possible that the ITC could make separate determinations for individual countries.
