AD and CVD Investigations of CTL Plate from 12 Countries

Falls Church, VA. May 12, 2016. The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has scheduled its vote in the plate investigations for Friday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m.

If the ITC makes an affirmative preliminary determination (i.e., a finding that there is a “reasonable indication” of material injury or the threat of material injury to the U.S. industry), the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) will conduct full-scale antidumping and countervailing duty investigations.

If, on the other hand, the ITC makes a negative preliminary determination (i.e., a finding that there is no “reasonable indication” of material injury or the threat of material injury to the U.S. industry), then the investigations will be terminated.

It is possible that the ITC could make separate determinations for individual countries.
